SHREWSBURY, Mass. – The Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation department will be offering an indoor Boot Camp starting in March.
This intro class will help prepare you for the Outdoor Boot Camp that will be taking place late spring into the summer.
Boot Camp uses the fat burning combination of strength training exercises with aerobic activities. You'll be on the move to a number of different stations for specific exercises, using your body weight to get stronger. Workouts will be designed with multiple short time segments moving the class along.
No matter where you're starting from, you will get stronger, leaner, and fitter.
Bring a water bottle, mat, rubber soled shoes and layered clothing.
The Outdoor Burn'em Boot Camp info will be available in early April.
Program cost is $38 for residents and $45 for non-residents.
Classes are on Wednesdays inside at the Shrewsbury Senior Center from 6:30-7:30 p.m. starting on March 7for a six-week session. The instructor is Monica Maher.
