Revels Repertory Company Touring Ensemble in "An American Journey"

Acclaimed touring ensemble "Revels Rep" presents an original program about immigration on Sat. March 10, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury. Set in 1907, when more people immigrated to the United States than in any other year (1.25 million), "An American Journey" focuses on the three largest groups, Irish, Italians and Eastern European Jews, but honors the struggles and courage of all who have left their homeland to come to the United States. Admission is $15 per adult, $5 children and students, $30 special price for parents and all children from the same household. The event will be preceded by a community potluck supper at 6:00 PM, with community desserts served during intermission.
